Trevi Fountain

The Trevi Fountain is the most beautiful fountain in Rome. With dimensions of 20 meters wide by 26 meters high, the Trevi Fountain is the largest fountain in the city.

The origins of the source back to the year 19 BC, when Fontana that was the end of the Aqua Virgo aqueduct. The first fountain was built during the Renaissance, under the orders of Pope Nicholas V.
The final aspect of the Trevi Fountain dates from 1762 when, after several years of work by the hand of Nicola Salvi, was completed by Giuseppe Pannini.
