See millions of crabs, Australia

The best place to be November 1
Why? Because it begins the annual migration of 120 million crustaceans.
The migration of 120 million red crabs of Christmas Island in Australia , is one of the most curious events in nature. While high rainfall and high humidity in the area allow them to live on land all year, continue linked to the sea by reproductive issues once a year and leave their burrows in the forest and are routed to the ocean. It is a dangerous path and over a million crabs perishing in the attempt by heat, dehydration or traffic. Crabs are a danger to drivers and daily newsletters detailing their movements.
The crabs mate on the coast, hidden in burrows and at night, go to the sea to lay eggs. ( www.christmas.net.au )
