'Rafting' on the Zambezi, Zambia

Why? The waters of the Zambezi are at their best.
The curtain of water thundering Victoria Falls is a natural wonder. For its precipice 1.7 km wide fall into the narrow gorge Batoka 550 000 m 3 of water per minute over 100 m. It is a mecca for adventure in Africa, with countless activities and one of the raftings best whitewater. The Zambezi River below the falls contains the highest concentration level V rapids in the world. From mid-August to the end of December there are wild routes and shallow for about 22 km. All operators include the stretch of rapids known as level VI Commercial Suicide.
