Piazza Barberini, built in 1625 on the orders of Cardinal Francesco Barberini, is located at the end of the Via Veneto, and is particularly striking because the two sources made by Bernini.
Just off the square is the Palazzo Barberini , a splendid baroque palace in the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica is located.
More hidden in one corner of the square is the Fontana delle Api (Fountain of the Bees), which is one of the most modest works of Bernini. Built in 1644 in honor of Pope Urban VIII Barberini, the source is decorated with large bees that are the emblem of the Barberini family.

In the center of the square the Fontana del Tritone (Triton Fountain), made in 1643, in which four dolphins hold the sea god Triton while this brings forth a stream of water from a conch stands.
