Oil finances the reinvention of Quito, with s infrastructure. XXI emerging between the South American colonial architecture of the city center, protected by UNESCO. A new underground visitors move from the bus station for all the historic districts of the city; station, renovated, and the new airport tempt tourists with high purchasing power to supplement lifelong backpacker tourism.
Oil money flows more strongly than the waters of the headwaters of the Amazon. The ancient monasteries and charismatic just stand in Quito, but the convent of San Diego for their art marvel.
