Great exercises

Exercise does not have to be boring or a waste of time. In these places you can activate more than endorphins.
1. Grouse Grind, North Vancouver ( Canada )
Visitors looking for a little exercise in Vancouver tend to go to the Stanley Park seawall impressive. It is logical. But who wants a good dose of exercise can head down the mountain to the North Shore and up the Grouse Grind. This stunning track that ascends 853 meters from Mount Grouse, covered with forests, only 2.9 km long (and 2830 steps) is known as "machine step of Mother Nature". A novice usually takes 90 minutes to climb (the record is 25 min). If just is broken, you can get off at the cable car. If you do not enjoy seeing the faces of exhaustion while descending.
Ascension is free but if you want to record the official time (and receive a bag above), you can buy a Grind Timer Card CA $ 20 in www.grousemountain.com .
2. Fourvière (Lyon, France )
Lyon has for decades been a world culinary capital, and with reason. The visit to the city is not complete without their kitchens are not explored (perhaps repeatedly). So nothing much better to burn excess (or whet the appetite) to climb the hundreds of steps there from Gare St Paul's Basilica Notre Dame de Fourviere. The majestic basilica is itself a reward, like the view over the Rhone and Saone rivers that cross the city. And if you still want more, you can always retrace his steps and repeat, or climb the many steps up the hill of La Croix-Rousse.
The Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourviere is open from 8.00 to 19.00. Information on guided visits www.fourviere.org .
3. Filbert Steps ( San Francisco , USA )
Telegraph Hill in San Francisco, is many different things. For some it is the place where the iconic Coit Tower rises. For others it is simply a place with good views of the bay. For those who enjoy a good exercise for your legs, lungs and buttocks, it is the place where the Filbert Steps. These 377 narrow wooden steps pose a difficult exercise to forget, by a green hillside and between brightly colored houses. Maybe even the squawk of a parrot is heard. San Francisco is not to lose heart is to strengthen it.
The basis of Filbert Steps is at the intersection of Filbert St & Kearny St.
4. Circuit de Monaco (Monaco)
The 3.34 km circuit of Monaco may be the world's most famous street circuit. The cars roar through the streets and cross the famous Place du Casino in Monte Carlo since 1929 and although Formula One drivers today see only a blur of luxury principality during the race, it is easy to appreciate more if It runs away (the number of turns is decided each). The heart will accelerate as the pilots: the ascent of Avenue d'Ostende after surrounding Sainte Devote is very steep. The prize can be a dip in the Plage du Larvotto.
The grid painted on the Boulevard Albert 1er, on the pool complex will be the port. On your marks!
5. Table Mountain (Cape Town, South Africa )
Thanks to the spectacular cable car ascent to the Table Mountain often involves only a fun day for most visitors to Cape Town. But not everyone is satisfied. Some might want to upload doing an exercise that will taste even long after the muscles to recover. The Patteklip throat, which divides the main face of the mountain in two, is the most direct route. The steep trail ascends almost 700 m in just 3 km.
The route begins in the throat Patteklip Tafelberg Rd. See safety tips and information about the park in www.sanparks.org .
6. Arthur's Seat ( Edinburgh , Scotland )
Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and also houses one of the best places to exercise and enjoy. Holyrood Park, tennis 8 km through the green volcanic landscape, while offering sublime views of Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament and sea. Elsewhere, among rocky outcrops and wide meadows, it will seem that far at all. The highlight is literally the top of Arthur's Seat, halfway.
It should start from the parking Queen's Drive, 250 meters from Holyrood Palace at the end of Royal Mile.
7. Central Park ( New York , USA )
Possibly the best known of all urban running routes is the 2.5 km loop around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park, New York. The trail of ash, is soft, so that your knees do not suffer from prolonged effort, but the views of the cityscape can leave anyone breathless. Great for running time is at sunset, when the setting sun reflects off buildings and city lights are turned with the arrival of the night.
You have to run to the right of the track and in a counter-clockwise direction. More information www.centralpark.com .
8. Playa de Copacabana (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil )
Exercise and look palm are two activities that combine dramatically in Copacabana. To enjoy the atmosphere there and go running or skating 4 km from the promenade, which become 8 km (16 roundtrip) Ipanema if included, to the south. Those who prefer to exercise your muscles, you will find several ski bars dominated exercise outdoors Copacabana. And the more daring can always be measured against the Cariocas in a game of volleyball or soccer. What is taught-in the form of muscle or deportivas- prowess it depends on each one.
It is best to exercise early, before the temperature rises. Although the beach is illuminated at night, it is not advisable to walk there after dark.
9. Route of the Berlin Wall ( Berlin , Germany )
Quoting Freddie Mercury: "ROSE to the bike and pedalead". A good place to build muscle and enrich the mind pedaling is the path of the Berlin Wall, 160 km route well marked and spiced with interesting historical information about the infamous wall where they learn about the division of Germany, the construction and fall of the Muro, and the tragedies of those who lost their lives trying to cross it. The route is divided into 14 sections, ranging from 7 to 21 km in length, to choose.
You can reach the beginning and end of each segment by public transport (most of them allow the transport of bicycles). More information www.berlin.de/mauer/mauerweg/index/index.en.php .
10. Coast to Coast Walk (Auckland, New Zealand )
They call him walk, but is rather a hint: 16 km long that cross the city of Auckland, from the Pacific Ocean to the Tasman Sea. Along the way some of its architectural gems will be found, and no less than five volcanic areas, some of them transformed and turned into terraces by Maori over the past 600 years. The route begins and ends in Viaduct Harbour in Manukau. It is part of Te Araroa (Long Road), 3000 km, which runs across the country. carnival 2016
