When the other day I received an invitation Majestic proponiéndome go to enjoy their morning sessions of Hatha Yoga on the terrace on the 10th floor of the landmark building in Paseo de Gracia, I did not think for a second response: "S I, want, of course. " Hotel, yoga and relaxation combined had never better.
So, despite having had to get up at 6:30 am, at 8 he was more than ready to edge the pool deck along with other invited to the class. Once there, get up early is not important. Never had the pleasure of attending one of the classes of Nicole Anderer,
with over 15 years experience in the practice and teaching of yoga, is a
recognized professional in the scene and did not really surprise me. I really liked how it will guide you through breathing and postures. You go quietly doing your exercises, breathing deepening and desperezando muscles while in harmony while feeling how slowly awakening town and outside sounds (cars, shops, pedestrians ...) are becoming more intense. But really you you do not care. You are there, above it all, soaking up the sun's energy and prime location. And even though classes are 1 hour, normal in yoga, it is more than enough to start the day full of energy.
As many of you know, I practice yoga for many years, but has always been a much more meditative yoga (Kundalini) and for several months I've spent a lot more physical option such as Vinyasa. In any case, a yoga class, whatever discipline, is always welcome, in addition to necessary tests when hooked. If you add to this the prime location of Dolce Vitae, the fantastic terrace of the Majestic and a healthy breakfast after class, the plan can not be more perfect.
After the class, and also served on the terrace, the aroma of freshly
brewed coffee accompanied by a detox juice (orange, carrot, celery and
pineapple) and a vegetable sandwich, among other options, are the icing on the plan to start a day perfect.
Attending a class of Hatha Yoga at the Majestic hotel costs 69 € (89 € if you include the healthy
breakfast) and is open not only to guests but also people who, like me,
is not staying at the hotel and want to enjoy a good experience.
