The world is vast and full of natural wonders: there are endless rivers, forests that are waiting to be explored, thousands of protected nature reserves, reefs where no one has just dived ... Why this effort to go to the same places? There are many protected areas and natural parks that are waiting to be discovered. Maybe they are not as accessible and comfortable, but the reward is a true pioneer discovering them feel alone (or almost).
1. Pass National Park Llogaraja (Albania)
The arrival here firry (1025 m) is a high point of the trip by Albania. If you have been sunbathing on the beaches of the south coast, it seems impossible that after a steep climb with hairpin bends one is found in the mountains. The most accessible national parks in Cameroon is also the best for wildlife. Although not comparable with those of East Africa, you can spot elephants, hippos, giraffes, antelopes and, hopefully, lions. The best time is between late March and April, since animals congregate at water holes before the rains. The park is closed during the rainy season, also known for its many species of birds. All vehicles must have a guide, and walking is not allowed.
4. The Penguins Natural Monument ( Chile )
Each year, about 60,000 pairs of Magellanic penguins come together in Magdalena Island, off the coast of Punta Arenas in Region XII of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica. From October to March, see them move, watch the nests and feed their babies is silky superb experience.

With altitudes of 900-3600 m, Podocarpus houses an impressive variety of flora and fauna; it is estimated that here a 3000 plant species (many endemic) and bird lovers await them no less than 600 species. Añádanse trails, mountain lakes and enlarged views, and the result is one of the most unique places in Ecuador.
9. Simien mountains (Ethiopia)
With a landscape of deep canyons and jagged peaks strangely, these spectacular mountains are a natural wonder no more, but an important reserve that protects several species endemic animals. Here, visitors can sit among a gaggle of gelada monkeys in Sankaber and take memorable hikes, but is also accessible by car.

The classic three-day cruise takes a route back and forth by the Sungai Sekonyer to Camp Leakey, with stops at various platforms feeding orangutans and wildlife watching. Experience is a real journey of adventure, suitable for everyone.
13. Gunung Leuser National Park (Sumatra, Indonesia )
This vast expanse of rainforest that blankets the mountains and valleys of northern Sumatra is full of animal life threefold, shrieks and roars. It is the dream of any naturalist and adventurer. Riverside chocolate color, the people of Ketambe is fantastic to rest a few days. But more importantly, it is an ideal for hiking expeditions undertake several days in search of howler monkeys, orangutans and perhaps the odd tiger base camp.
14. Nature Reserve Aksu-Zabagyly (Kazakhstan)
1319 km 2 of valleys and mountains that rises to the Kyrgyz and Uzbek borders is the oldest nature reserve in the country (1926) and one of the most visited.
At the west end of the mountain range of Alatau Talassky it occupies from the edge of the steppe at 1200 m to 4239 m in Pik Sayram. The traveler can see ibex, argalíes, red marmots, eagles, vultures and bears, especially in spring.
15. Sehlanyane National Park ( Lesotho )
Nestled in the bowels of the injured Maluti mountains, this reserve protects 5600 has a beautiful area of unspoilt nature high, covering the country's only indigenous forest. Undervalued and barely visited, it is away from everything and is perfect for hiking. A one-day routes must be added a hard walk of 39 km running from Ts'ehlanyane to Bokong Nature Reserve, southwest, passing through some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.

17. National Park Biogradska Gora (Montenegro)
Nestled in the folds of the mountains Bjelasica, Biogradska Gora has a quiet environment, lonely and untouched. Its main attraction is the beautiful Lake Biograd, but also other attractions await in the paths that cross one of the most important stretches of virgin forest are preserved in Europe. Unlike the rocky terrain that characterizes much of the country's mountains, it is a lush place each fall sports a colorful spectacle.
