A
Panama hat, sunglasses and eager to have fun are the perfect complement
to, suitcase in hand, across the pond and land on one of my favorite
cities, Miamicarnival 2016
Needless to say, Miami is much more than just sun and beach city. The Riviera of the United States is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, open 24 hours. From the Art Basel (one of the most important contemporary art fairs in the world, full of artists, investors, press and voyeurs) to the largest collection of Art Deco architecture, located on Ocean Drive, one of the busiest avenues city. And it is precisely here where, from 5 to 21 Street and Alton Road to the east, are well exposed, like most things in this city, real architectural gems of the 20, 30 and 40; pastel buildings (pink, peach, teal, lavender ...) colors and a tangle of neon that illuminates the best shows in town (with permission of the beautiful people that walks daily by Ocean Drive). To deepen and learn more about this art movement is fundamental lean out the Art Deco Welcome Center , an authentic Art Deco Bible. For its part, the Wolfsonian Museum is also a must visit place which includes the most curious works of the current, with the added value of any other connotation kitsch.

And a special highlight for mythomaniacs as it is on Ocean Drive where the designer Giani Versace had his home and whose door was assassinated on July 15, 1997. Casa Casuarina, an old and ostentatious mansion of 1930, will be auctioned next September 17 for a starting price of $ 25 million.
South Beach is also ideal for exploring the stereotype of Miami Beach location: luxury, vanity and lots of beautiful people wanting to have fun. Shops, trendy restaurants like those that can be found in the famous Lincoln Road and Spanish Way - the coolest cafes and hotels in the city, including the legendary Cafe Cardozo , who is also a hotel. Miami continues to cultivate, stylish, fame surface along almost six kilometers along Ocean Drive though, as in life itself, it may only concerned a matter of facade, as his district Art Deco.

Those not waddling through all these avenues have asked sure table, well in advance, at Cecconi's , the only Italian restaurant that seems to exist in Miami Beach. Cecconi's is the darling of Soho House , a kind of club, hotel and restaurant somewhat snob who, admittedly, all we want to be partners, or at least have the chance to sleep in one of their suites or try the carpaccio restaurant tuna. An institution in the 4385 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.
