With 1.5 million followers on Instagram, the 'hipsters' dogs seen photos book

The American Elias Weiss Friedman had an idea in 2013 while holidaying in Europe. He photographed a boxer breed dog in Vienna and wondered why there is not a blog geared toward dogs in the style of The Sartorialist, one of the most famous fashion blogs, click people taken off the streets of New York. From there was born the "The Dogist" on Instagram.
Today, The Dogist has 1.5 million followers on Instagram and also has pages on Facebook and Twitter. After the success also on Facebook and Twitter, was released in late October the book "The Dogist: Photographic Encounters with the 1,000 Dogs" (photographic encounters with a thousand dogs, in free translation).
One of Friedman's tricks is to position the camera at the level of the dog's eyes. For this, you kneel and always wear knee pads to get the best shot. In a dis cases, the photo captures only the nose of a curious dog who decided to sniff the lens.
Friedman also uses balls and makes noises to draw the attention of dogs.
And not only dogs strolling the streets of New York living "The Dogist". Dice, a pitbull two years, was adopted through a Friedman campaign called "Give a Dog a Bone" ("Take a Bone for Dogs" in free translation).
Photographer personally deliver donations to dogs in shelters, photographs them and posts at The Dogist to increase your chances of being adopted and to assist and promote the shelters that care for the animals.
