IBM
launched the Harmony API, a new set of solutions and services APIs
(Application Programming Interface) based on the cloud in order to help
companies take advantage of the power of 'Economics of APIs'.
The Harmony API uses cognitive technologies such as mapping and graphics 'intelligent', allowing, for example, anticipate the needs of developers creating new applications or recommendation APIs.
The APIs are software components that act as aggregators technology, integrating data and business logic by enabling connect systems from multiple companies through applications or any device using the cloud.
IBM added capabilities 'machine-learning' API Harmony technology in order to help programmers use smart looking technology and find the APIs they need more quickly and easily.
IBM is working with the Linux Foundation and other entities in order to provide an open platform for the creation, management and integration of open APIs.
The APIs for the IBM Watson are managed by IBM API Management in Bluemix, which provides more than 30 APIs based on cognitive computing and capacities of the partner ecosystem and the company's developers.
