Gadget acts as "anti-virus" to protect connected home

Your TV is probably connected to the internet and before long your washing machine, your microwave and your refrigerator will be too. The so-called "internet of things" everyday --objetos connected rede-- can make everything easier, but not necessarily safe. With that in mind, F-Secure Finnish security company is developing a device that promises to protect all electronic connection.
The device called Sense is connected to the Wi-Fi network and creates a new secure address. It will protect all devices from all kinds of hacker attacks, viruses and act as VPN (Virtual Private Network, in free translation), that protects the data traffic of the devices.
To protect all devices, the company said, simply connect them to the new address. There is no limit to the number of electronics to be protected. Even a friend to come for a visit can connect to the network and then have your device protected.
The device reads all signals from traffic Wi-Fi. Any strange movement, --which gadget has the shape of a speaker retangular-- blocks access to the device to ensure network protection.
To maintain this protection lasts away from home when cell phone or computer, for example, are connected to another network that is not secure, you should use an application. With the app, the smartphone will be protected even if connected to another network.
From the application the user may still have access to detailed information about the protection, such as how many devices connected to the network are protected and how many are not.
F-Secure plans to launch the device in March and April 2016. The date is not certain, since the product is still under development. It should be made available for sales at first in Europe and North America. It is not anticipated his arrival in Brazil. Yet the company claims that, even if it is purchased abroad, the gadget will function normally in the country.
The Sense should cost around 199 euros (US $ 800) and includes 12 months of service. Note that the unit does not function without the support of F-Secure, which is responsible for the necessary and constant updates of the device. Therefore, after the first year of use, you must pay 8 euros (US $ 32) a month to keep the service active.
