20
years ago today that Microsoft released Windows 95, the operating
system with graphical interface that really revolutionized the way PCs
are used today.
Until the release of Windows 95, Windows was a mere addition to MSDOS
allowing the use use with a mouse and keyboard rather than a real
operating system.
Windows 95 brought some completely new usability features for height, as the Start button which gives access to all the programs installed on your computer. Microsoft has tried to end it in Windows 8, but had to bring him back in the recent Windows 10 released in early August. Windows 95 was also known for "Blue Screen of Death" that appeared when a program ceased to function due to a mistake, or when there were hardware problems.
Windows 95 cost over two hundred dollars in cash.
