Microsoft releases new edition of Kodu Kup Portugal

Microsoft Portugal has launched a new edition of Kodu Kup aimed at students of 3rd and 4th year of schools of the first cycle of basic education participating in the project Introduction to Programming.
Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, the initiative will impact approximately 25,000 students nationwide, a total of 225 clusters of schools and over 1223 classes and 578 teachers.
A recreational and educational way, the Kodu Kup aims to stimulate the interest of young people for the world of programming, as well as promote the development of digital literacy and skills.
Integrated in the curriculum, the initiative provides for one to two hours per week of programming classes, within which students will be challenged to create games and different and innovative covers.
To participate in Kodu Kup, schools participating in the Introduction to Programming project must submit the registration of the participants until November 13, 2015 using the form available on this
