Samsung has up its sleeve a new asset to keep in fierce competition with Apple in the high-end smartphone market.
For possible Galaxy S7 -previsto to be released in January 2016-, South
Korea should present the most powerful processor on the market.
The company, according to the South Korean blog ETNews, would be accelerating the production of the Exynos 8890, which would replace the Exynos 7420 -used in 5 Galaxy Note and Galaxy S6. 64-bit eight 2.4 GHz cores, the processor must overcome all its competitors. What is not known is how long, even if the status will last until the launch.
Remember that the performance of a smartphone is measured not only on the power of your processor. There are several other technical specifications - RAM, storage, GPU [graphics smartphone plate], battery and conectividade- systems that influence on the device performance.
Samsung Electronics was planned anticipating the launch of its next smartphone Galaxy S for January in an attempt to better compete with the new iPhones from Apple.
In recent years, the company has announced its line of tops during the Mobile World Congress, which usually takes place between February and March. The latest releases -Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus- were presented in August.
