Kotor is beautiful from every angle. Behind the walls, locals take strong coffee on the terraces outside and line up to buy fresh bread in bakeries, in a maze of alleys and squares. Further, the eponymous bay surrounded by mountains is one of the most photogenic spots in Europe. Best of all is that large cruise ships have not yet amassed this Mediterranean wonder: must visit before invading.

The cosmopolitan Dublin know what resilience and, with 40% of its population under age 30, is a city that vibrates youth, optimism and creativity. In 2016 is the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising (1916), the first in a chain of events that led to the creation of the republic.

5. Rotterdam, Netherlands
A wave of development, reforms and urban regeneration

Rotterdam is the future ... now. After the bombings of World War II, the second largest city of the Netherlands was the canvas of visionary architects like Rem Koolhaas. The result is a laboratory buildings framed by the surviving heritage. In early 2016 the Rotterdam Museum in Timmerhuis, designed by Koolhaas is inaugurated; and later the Eurostar services between London and Amsterdam will stop at the busiest port in Europe, which will further facilitate the visits.

This great center of fashion, finance and the film is set for a stellar 2016 thanks to the economic boom in India. Bombay invests his wealth to improve their tourism: the airport has a new terminal, visitors can ride the monorail comfortable air-conditioned train, and continue to appear skyscraper (next year the world's tallest residential building will open). The "full city" is true to his nickname.

7. FREMANTLE, AUSTRALIA
'Freo', here we come!
The tide rises and falls in world 'Freo', a jaunty port city of eastern Australia attracting free spirits. People visit for its concert halls, trendy bars, boutique and craft breweries hotels-, along with students from the University of Notre Dame, who collaborated on the transformation of Fremantle city anchored in economic stagnation in 1987 to the capital dynamic, artistic and countercultural it is today.
8. MANCHESTER, ENGLAND
The city's cultural boom

Manchester, once the cradle of the Industrial Revolution, has a new role as a dynamo of British culture. The government has invested more than 78 million pounds in The Factory, an artistic center that will host the Manchester International Festival. The city has been undergoing renovations and art openings, including Whitworth, HOME (other multidisciplinary center) Gallery and Central Library. The 'redeployment' of a city that was addicted to the industry moves quickly.
9. Nashville, United States
More vivid (and spicy) a chilli

If the traveler believes that Nashville is strumming guitars, and songs of heartbreak pelazos is right (in part). The country remains the soul of the city of music; and singers like Taylor Swift, this musical style, old fashion a while ago, revives with a vengeance. But outside the premises of the new sound on Broadway is found in the city: the hammering of works, the talk in the last opening of the new restaurant or art gallery, the loudest of all, the energetic buzz of the New business.
10. ROME , ITALY
Happy and bright city

The eternal city never gets old. But all roads lead to it in 2016. The pilgrims will go to Italy because the pope Francisco has declared as the Year of Mercy, but also earthly reasons to visit: the Colosseum have been restored; Trevi Fountain has received a facelift and, last but not least, two future stars in Rome blockbusters, a remake of Ben Hur and Spectre, the new James Bond film.
